Helping Chronically Hungry Children

Food 4 Kids was established for students who are
food insecure and who are not getting sufficient food outside of school on a regular basis. The Kansas Food Bank provides food and supplies for the food 4 Kids schools in Kansas. The Food Bank provides pre-assembled bags of food to be distributed to children in backpacks on Friday of each week. The Food in the backpacks are designed to be kid friendly food so kids can just open and eat.

The following USD 308 Schools are participating in the food 4 kids program:

-  McCandless Elementary
