Elementary Schools

• Improvements to all 8 elementary schools

• New library/media centers at 7 elementary schools

• Renovation to promote security and safety through improved parking and drop off areas and visible administrative areas

• Additions and renovations to facilitate educational programming, upgrade infrastructure such as handicap accessibility, heating and cooling and safety codes

• Elimination of all existing portable classrooms through facility improvements

Hutchinson Middle School Sites

• Renovation to promote security and safety through improved parking and drop off areas and visible administrative areas

• Improve classroom space with permanent walls and renovate science rooms

• Upgrade infrastructure items: such as building lifecycle costs (example: sealants), handicap accessibility, heating/cooling and safety

Hutchinson High School

• Expand Vocational Center to a high-tech Vocational Academy

• New Fine Arts Center

• New Media/Research Center

• New and renovated science laboratories

• Renovate and expand physical education facilities, including weights, wrestling and locker rooms

• Renovations for additional classrooms, infrastructure upgrades for handicap accessibility, heating and cooling, lights, security and safety
