Operation Strategy at McCandless

MCC Elementary will be implementing the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). MTSS is a framework to help schools create an effective and efficient educational system to increase student achievement. MTSS is designed as a framework based on prevention and early intervention and support for all students; it is not tied to a specific content or curriculum. MCC Elementary will continue to develop tools to support our plan in each area, will increase differentiated instruction strategies and skills to strengthen the core classroom and tiered support. MCC will align assessments and use data to drive curriculum. Technology will continue to increase as an instructional tool and learning tool. The MCC staff will continue to strengthen the three-tiered systems of support through effective and aligned interventions, database decision-making, and teamwork.
