Assessments are Under Way!
Thank you for all your support during these weeks of assessments. The students are working hard and things are going well. Thank you for making sure the children continue to get a full night’s rest and that they eat a nutritious breakfast. We appreciate all of the support you give your child during the school year, but especially during this assessment time!

Safety Comes First!
Thank you for continuing to be safe when dropping off your children in the mornings. It keeps students safe when parents drop the students off in the south parking lot or at the crosswalks. Also, thank you for being courteous to the safety patrols and teachers on duty. We really appreciate their help keeping students safe. If you have a concern about traffic or the bus zones, please contact the office.

PTO News
Ordered and received additional letters/symbols for the marquee sign. Still need parents to sign up to help in getting the sign changed bi-weekly. The PTO skate was 3/1/7, Ms. Lansdown’s class won the pizza party. Congratulations! Goody bags were distributed to the Safety Patrol (right before spring break), I have scheduled a Safety Patrol Skate Party for May 17th from 12:30-2:30 p.m. During Parent/Teacher conferences, PTO provided a catered lunch from Carlo’s O’Kelly’s and parent volunteers catered in desserts! It was awesome! Thank you from the staff!
Next Papa John Night is next week on 3/27/07.Box Tops were mailed in for the Feb.28th deadline,6,594 were sent! The bench should be installed in the next 10-14 days- just outside Mrs. Warner’s office window. Carnival: As of today…there are only 46 days until Carnival!!!
PTO will have Nominations for the Board and Elections in May. Also ahead is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week 5/6-5/12 with May 8th being National Teacher Day! Drawing: for $10 gift card to El Portrillo won by Letty Watt!! The next PTO Meeting will be April 16th @ 6:00p.m.
