Open houses set Aug 6, 2012Students who attend elementary school in USD 308 will have the opportunity to see their buildings and meet their teachers prior to the first day of classes.
All elementary schools will have open houses on Aug. 14, the afternoon and evening before the first day of classes. A schedule of elementary open houses is below.
In addition to seeing the schools, open houses give parents a chance to ask staff questions, turn in health and other necessary final paperwork and see what parent organizations are available.
The first day of classes for students in first through ninth grades will be Aug. 15. The first day for sophomores through seniors at HHS will be Aug. 16. Kindergarteners and 4-year-olds’ first day will be Aug. 20 for boys and Aug. 21 for girls.
Families who have not enrolled for the 2012-13 school year are asked to go to their school and enroll in person.
