Substitute Teacher Resources
Stop by the Administration Center and pick up a substitute teacher packet
or call Melinda at (620) 615-4032 and a packet will be mailed.
Upon completion of the packet a mandatory training session is required.
Once the substitute teachers successfully complete the training and
receive their license from the Kansas State Department of Education,
they will be placed in the substitute pool.

Thank you for your interest in Substituting Teaching for Hutchinson Public Schools. We have an excellent school system that is on a continuous improvement track. However, there are times when our highly qualified teachers are absent from the classroom. It is fortunate we have a strong pool of substitute teachers, but continue to seek additional substitutes.
