The Reno Entrepreneurial Development Institute is a unique
learning center for juniors and seniors in Central Kansas.
REDI opened doors in 1999 and is located at The Quest Center
for Entrepreneurs.
REDI is highly recommended for the student who aspires to own a
business. Students take an in-depth study of the many facets
of being an entrepreneur. The curriculum includes learning to
create a successful business plan as well as choosing a
product or service to market. Students are immersed in the
planning and execution of entrepreneurial activities in a
start-up business. While students are under the supervision of
the instructor, they are expected to display responsible
independent action and to interact frequently with business
founders, owners or chief executives.
Students have the option of taking the
REDI program for Hutchinson Community College credit. Student
can earn up to six credit hours. College credit is an option
and is not required for admission in the REDI program.
REDI students use the latest
technology on their projects. Below are some examples of what
can be done at REDI. (please click on the picture to enlarge)

One of REDI's in-class business simulations includes digital
photography.
Students can create reproductions using digital equipment. We
are currently working with LOGO 105 and Frank Terrill on this
project.

Saving on ink cartridges is a great advantage when creating
digital prints for customers!

Our digital setup is state-of-the-art. Students can work with
customers to create the best product.

Last year REDI students
competed at the KTEC State Business Plan Competition. REDI
entered two teams in the competition.
