Experience the powerful true story of the Radium Girls, young women who were exposed to dangerous levels of radium in the early 1900s and courageously fought the U.S. Radium Corporation for justice after suffering devastating — and in many cases fatal — injuries. Don’t miss this gripping production, coming Thursday through Saturday at the HHS Performing Arts Center, with all performances starting at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door or online at hutchtheatre.ludus.com. Adult tickets are $12, seniors (65+) $10, high school students and children $6, and HHS students with ID $5. Fees apply at checkout.
“This cast and crew have put in phenomenal work,” said Tobie Henline, Drama Teacher. “Many of our actors are taking on multiple roles, which requires tremendous versatility both physically and vocally. Behind the scenes, our students have worked just as hard, designing everything from costumes and set pieces to lighting. I’m incredibly excited for audiences to see the dedication and talent these students are bringing to the stage.”
The HHS Theatre Department presents three major productions each year. After wrapping Seussical the Musical in October, the troupe dove into Radium Girls and will present one final show this year, Baskerville, by Ken Ludwig, on April 9th and 10th. Come see the incredible talent and hard work of our students brought to life on stage!
