Hutchinson’s Salthawk 4-year-old Preschool is now accepting pre-enrollment applications for the 2021-22 school year. A free program for USD 308 families, children must be 4-years-old on or before August 31, 2021, to be eligible.
The district provides a full day program that lasts from 7:55 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. USD 308 will provide busing to and from school within the USD 308 district boundaries at no charge. Students will be served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

Walk-in application clinics will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on

- March 9,
- April 13,
- May 4,
- May 18 and
- May 27
at Avenue A School, 111 South Madison. Final enrollment will take place in early August.
Families who have completed pre-enrollment paperwork and meet our program criteria, will have a “slot” reserved for their child. Out-of-district students will be placed on a waiting list and accepted on a case-by-case basis as space allows.
