With the start of school, pre-season sports activities continue at Hutchinson High School. Because of the pandemic, some activities have changed.
The annual Blue-Gold football scrimmage will not be a full preview of all fall activities in 2020. The scrimmage will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, at Gowans Stadium and only be a football scrimmage. There is no admission charge to the scrimmage.
Then at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, the annual AVCTL preseason volleyball tournament gets underway. HHS will host teams in the Salthawk Activity Center.
