We Are Salthawks - Ultimate Benefit & Auction, formerly known as the Ultimate Football Tailgate is moving to an all athletics auction. Previously this auction benefited our football program of 100 athletes and now will benefit 400 plus athletes. We are looking for Salthawk supporters to be a part of our planning committee.
This event will take place on March 25th or April 1st. There are several ways to be involved: prior, during and after the event. Planning will take place October - March and meeting dates are TBD. Hutchinson High School held a lockdown drill today. The purpose of the drill was to provide information, explain expectations, and practice safety procedures. Additionally, this provided us with another opportunity to check our alarm systems and ensure that our doors are secure and locking properly.
Free tutoring is available in T101, next to the Sweet Treat, from 3:25-4:30 every Monday through Thursday that school is in session. HHS teachers and other tutors are available to help students complete or redo assignments, do homework, and better understand concepts. Snacks are available at the start of the session and students can stay for all or part of the time frame.

BEGINNING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, Free tutoring is available for all subjects at Hutch High every Monday through Thursday that school is in session from 3:30-4:30 in room T101. Certified HHS teachers and other tutors are available to help students complete assignments, do homework, and better understand any subject area. Students are welcome to attend on an “as needed” basis and can stay for all or part the time frame. Snacks are also available at the beginning of each session.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I want to give a big THANK YOU to our staff for all their efforts to start off this year in a smooth, efficient way. Teachers have worked hard getting their rooms and curriculum ready for our students. Office and custodial staff have also worked extra hard in getting the school clean and ready for a great school year. Please be aware that our school day will now end at 3:20 rather than 3:24. Finally, I want to say thank you to all our families for the never-ending support you give us. You make such a difference in our ability to succeed at Hutchinson High School.
