Attention 6th Graders! If you are interested in cheerleading next year for Middle School, pick up an information packet from your teacher about tryouts. There is a required clinic you will need to attend next week, Monday, March 15th, through Thursday, March 18th with the actual tryouts being next Friday, March 19th.
Nominations are open for the Hutchinson USD 308 Classified Employee of the Year. Nominations will be taken until March 12.
The award is open to all classified employees in the Hutchinson Public School District who have been employed in the district a minimum of three years at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year. An individual may be nominated who works full-time or part-time in any classified position for the district.

All students will attend class in person Monday, February 22nd through Wednesday, February 24th.

Noon Monday Update
The Hutchinson Middle School boys' basketball games at Goddard Eisenhower are off for today. The games have been canceled.
Tuesday's HHS basketball home games against Maize have been postponed until Feb. 25.
The pre-K walk-in enrollment clinic at Avenue A for Tuesday will not go on, but you still can fill out pre-enrollment information online by clicking on https://forms.gle/TYajykR3FgfitvJG9, come in person to one of our walk-in application clinics or call 620-615-4950 to schedule an appointment.
Additionally, Lincoln Elementary School's picture day for Tuesday has been postponed.
As we announced late last week, just a reminder that on Monday Hutchinson USD 308 will be in the remote learning model because of the extreme cold temperatures. Please be safe in this weather. #308pride
At Monday’s Board of Education Meeting, the decision was made to end the Hybrid Learning Model and bring all students back into the building on Monday, February 15th. However, due to expected extreme weather, adjustments to this week's schedule have been made.
This week's schedule is as follows:
Monday 15th: all students will work remotely due to expected inclement weather.
Tuesday 16th - Thursday 18th: All students in person
Friday 19th: No school due to it being a Teacher's Personal Development day.
This schedule is subject to change as weather conditions warrant.
Student's will need to bring their charging blocks, charging cords, ipads, and laptops, fully charged, with them on Tuesday morning, the 16th. These will be turned in and kept at the school to be utilized during the day.

Class Composites Available For Purchase!
Due to Covid-19, class pictures will not be available in the spring like normal. Only individual pictures will be available at that time. However, Class Composites are available to order online right now until February 17th, 2021. These are 8x10 sheets with each student and teacher in your student’s class displayed on them, similar to what a yearbook page would look like.
